April 17th, 2011-A small taste of things to come...
Hello Newman.... shit! I mean, Axiom fans.
Most of you know that we have been working on our 2nd album for a while now, and unless you've been out to one of the few shows in sacramento where we've played some of this new material, you haven't heard any of what we've been doing. While we are still not quite ready to give away any full-lengths tracks (which we will do when the time is right) you can check out this demo reel that includes an excerpt of one (or two) of our new songs!
The demo reel was made by a sound engineering student at ex'pressions digital arts college where we did some tracking for the upcoming album.

January 1st, 2011-Happy New Year!
It's 2011. We've began recording our 2nd album and are bringing in the new year with a show at Shenanigans on January 7th at 9pm in Sacramento! We're going to be playing a few more shows and then get right back to recording. We'll have some samples for you guys soon, but if you're dying to hear some new Axiom, make sure you come out to see us live! Goodbye.

October 22nd, 2010-Axiom begins recording new album!
The production of our second studio album officially began today in Emeryville, CA. We are very excited to once again enter the studio and record new material that we have been working very hard on for nearly the past two years since A Means to an End was released. Although this was only our first day of recording drums, I will say that we're off to a very good start. Be prepared! For new Axiom is coming!

August 10th, 2010-Marin Stock 2 Cancelled!
Unfortunately the big benefit concert that we were suppossed to play this summer has been cancelled! That's right, we WILL NOT be playing Hamilton Amphitheater on the 21st as planned.
We apologize to those of you in the bay area who were planning on attending. Don't worry, we will make our way out there soon!
In good news, we are going to be playing a differnt festival called Music On the River on August 28th at Pinky's bar and grill in Sacramento. We are really excited about this show because we will be headlining! For show details, check out the links below. If you want tickets (only $5) hit us up at merch@axiomband.net.
We are still working on a US tour, and will keep you updated with any news relating to that.

December 31st, 2009-Year End/Plans for 2010
Another decade is about to be lost, while another one is about to begin. We have now been a band for over 7 years, and still have a long way to go!
It has been a good year for us all in all. We spent most of it promoting our debut album; playing many shows and getting some pretty good press, including a published review of our album in Germany's Rock Hard magazine.
Although our plans to tour this year fell through, we did do a couple "road trip" shows, including Nashville, TN, which was the farthest we have ever traveled as a band.
During the latter half of 2009, we have been writing and recording demos for our next album, which we plan to start recording mid 2010, and have it released by the end of next year (no promises though).
Like I mentioned before, we were unfortunately unable to tour this year, but are currently in the middle of booking a US tour for June 2010! We are really excited about this one, and will update you on the details as they come.
We should also be doing our first radio interview for a station based in Amsterdam in January, so we'll let you know when to tune in!

November 25th, 2009-AMTAE one year anniversary!
I can't believe it's been a whole year since AMTAE hit the shelves! When we recorded AMTAE last year, we did a couple of things that weren't included on the album. The first was "Thinline," which most of you have downloaded by now, and the other was an extended version of "Struck Down." Since it is a special occasion, we have decided to give you that exclusive track to download for FREE! Enjoy.

The long awaited link on the inside of AMTAE for "thinline" is finally up and running. "Thinline" was recorded during the AMTAE sessions, but was ommitted from the album due to time constraints. A Means to an End is available now! The album is on sale for $11.99 at all Dimple Records and Rasputin Records locations(greater sacramento & bay areas).
The album is also available for download at www.digstation.com/axiom, and will soon be available at other online retailers as well as this website.

November 24th, 2008-A Means to an End out tomorrow!
It's finally here! Our debut album will be hitting record store shelves tomorrow, November 25h 2008! The album will be available at all Dimple Records locations in the greater sacramento area, and at select Rasputin Records stores in the bay area. We will keep you posted in regards to the digital download information, as that will become available in the near future. November 08, 2008- 17 days
We have been completely done with A Means to an End for 4 days now, and it is currently in production! It will be available in select record stores on November 25th, and available at all major digital distributors. We will also have FREE album samplers avialable at all Dimple Records locations late next week! Keep checking back for a list of all record stores that will carry the album, as more will be added to the list as time goes on. We are very excited about finally being done with this thing! October 06, 2008-A Means to an End progress
What's up 'o loyal ones? We are now very close to wrapping up the new album, so don't worry, you will not have to wait much longer! Unfortunately, we do not have an exact release date yet...but we are thinking in the ballpark of late this month or early next month. Mixing is going very well,even though it is taking very long. Trust me, we can't wait to get this thing out to you so we can get out there with the rest of the world again! We'll see ya soon.
